Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Giada: hi there, not sure what you have done wrong but I've never had an issue with this recipe ever. As for sweetness, my customers always say that's it's not as sickly sweet as normal fudge.

@Leeanne059 so that warrants only 3 stars? I find it smoothest fudge out of all others.

I made this adding the glucose syrup as I find it makes a smoother fudge (just my preference). I have also tried it with the choc orange oreos and it's even more delicious.
Awesome flavour fudge... used

Thank you and i agree with the glucose!
Loooove this fudge
Loooove this fudge recipe!
This is by far the best tasting fudge recipe I have tried, found it not as sickly sweet as the ones with glucose syrup (which I find un-necessary in an already super sweet desert).
Was a huge hit with kids and adults alike, and didnt last long in our house!

There are so many recipes for fudge and this is mine. I didn't know about "Thermofun" one. And mine is slightly different. So manners is the right thing to do when you are in the wrong. I am not. And putting it up here the way you have is also bad manners! Have a lovely day.

I've been using this same recipe for a couple years now, with or without the glucose syrup. Leonie from Thermofun has it on the RC and her website and she politely attributed the original recipe converter. Good manners and the right thing to do. http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/desserts-sweets-recipes/oreo-cookies-and-cream-fudge/80509
