Paleo Chocolate Custard (GF, DF, SF)

  • 90 g 85% dark chocolate, (Green & Black is my favourite)
  • 20 g cornflour, (use White Wings so it is GF)
  • 1 can coconut milk, (400ml)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp honey, (or to taste)

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place chocolate and cornflour into mixing bowl and grate 10 sec / speed 9. Scrape down sides of bowl.


    Add coconut milk, honey and eggs and cook 7 min / 90 degrees / speed 4.

Dairy Free Soft Serve Icecream

For an alternative treat during summer.


Freeze custard for at least 3-4 hours. If it has been frozen longer, allow it to thaw slightly so it is easier to chop.

Chop into chunky pieces and return to mixing bowl.

Mix 10 secs / speed 8. Scrape down sides and repeat until well combined.

Insert Butterfly and whip for 1 min / speed 3.

    Yum!! Had to stop myself from licking the bowl  tmrc_emoticons.p

    I used 1/4 cup coconut sugar instead of the honey which I added with the choc & arrowroot starch. Will be making again (& again!). thanks!
