Peanut Butter Balls

  • 18 pitted dates
  • 1 Cup rolled oats
  • 4 heaped teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1/8 tsp salt, If desired
  • 2 heaped tbsp Maple syrup
  • 4 level tbsp coconut oil, Add more if mixture is still a bit dry
  • 3 level tsp Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 4 heaped tablespoons Peanut Butter, Smooth or crunchy

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to bowl and mix for 20 seconds, speed 10.

    Roll in to balls and refrigerate.

Tip

I personally like the subtle hint of the salt but you could leave it out of course.

Experiment with other dried fruits instead of dates. Eg. dried apricots etc.
