Peanut Butter Protein Balls

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 75 grams raw almonds
  • 1-2 tbsp honey, or rice malt syrup
  • 1 tbsp Protein Powder, (optional)

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add dates, cocoa and peanut butter to bowl, 15 secs, speed 6, MC on.

    2. Scrape down sides of the bowl. Add almonds and honey. Turbo 10-15 times, or until desired consistancy is reached.

    3. Spoon mixture into tablespoon sized balls and roll.

    4. Store in airtight container in the fridge.

    *Use within the week

    I've been making these weekly for the last month and love them. So easy and great when you just need something sweet with a cuppa when you are trying to be 'good'
