  • 1000 grams Frozen Blueberries, (or any other frozen fruit)
  • 1 --- lemon, zest only
  • 60 grams caster sugar
  • 20 gram cornflour

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 deg C. Grease a 23cm pie dish and press one sheet of the sweet short pasrty into it, ensuring you go up the edges with a little overlap at the top.
  2. Place the frozen blueberries into a bowl, sprinkle with the cornflour and toss to combine.
  3. Place the sugar and zest of one lemon into the bowl, mill for 15 seeconds at speed 10.
  4. place milled sugar into the bowl with the blueberries and toss together.
  5. Put the blueberry mixture in the pie dish, cover with another sheet of pastry, pressing the edges together firmly. Trim any excess pastry.
  6. bake for 45 minutes and allow to cool for 10 before serving
