Soya Fudge

  • 500 g brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 380 g homemade soya condensed milk, search "Soya Condensed Milk"
  • 150 g dairy free brick margarine, cubed
  • 55 g golden syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • pinch salt

Recipe's preparation

  1. Mill sugar and cornflour 1min/sp10. (in 2 separate batches of 250g)

  2. Add all ingredients except vanilla and cook 40min/90ºC/sp2/MC off.

  3. Cook 40min/Varoma/sp2 using basket on top of lid to prevent spatter.

  4. Cook 4min/Varoma/sp4 using basket on top of lid to prevent spatter.

  5. Add vanilla through hole in lid and beat 1 min/sp4/MC in.

  6. Scrape into tin that’s sprayed with cooking spray.Allow to cool at room temperature.

  7. Score and cut into blocks before completely cooled. 

  8. Enjoy!

Tip

I don't have any pics because my son took it all to school before I could get my camera! None of his friends believed it's dairy free!
