Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

THERE ARE A FEW DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF VANILLA ICECREAM. THIS IS MY MINE.
  1. Insert butterfly in TM bowl.

2 Add 400 gram's of condensed milk, (one can.) Fill the empty can of condensed milk, (with milk), then add, 300 grams of cream, along with 3 tablespoons of vanilla extract.
    Wisk 30 -40 secs /speed 4.

    3 Remove butterfly.

4 Pour into icecream churner, and churn till icecream has thickened. Or to manafactures directions.

5 Pour into a feezer proof icecream container of choice.

6 Put into freezer to set and firm up.
  2. Queens is my choice of extract.

Tip

Three tablespoons of vanilla might seem a lot, but it is, the secret to my vanilla icecream. You can definitely use less if you prefer though!
I always use an icecream churner with my ice creams. As I like the consistency better.

ENJOY!
