Ingredients

2 litre(s)

Apple Juice

  • 6 Golden delicious apples
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 orange
  • 100 g sugar, optional
  • 1 litre water

Rooibos Tea

  • 4 Rooibos Tea Bags
  • 1 litre Boiling water

Fresh Mint (be generous)

Recipe's preparation

    Fresh Mint

  1. Using a generous amount of fresh mint, chop for 3 sec on speed 7

     

    Leave a couple of whole leaves to put in the jug and continue diffusing

    2. Apple Juice

  2. Add the water & sugar to the TM & cook for 10 mins / 90° / speed 2

    Peel & core the apples & cut into cubes, juice the lemon & orange & add to the sugar water. Mix for 10 secs on speed 5

    With the lid in lock position, use the Turbo button for 10 seconds at least 5 times, or until the apple is looking like a pulp

     

    Place the rice steamer into the jug & covered with a muslin close, pour the contents into a 2 litre.

    3. Rooibos Tea

  3. Allow the tea bags to sit in the boiling water for a minimum of 10 minutes. Remove & combine the black rooibos tea with the apple/lemon & orange juice.

     

    Add the freshly chopped mint & the whole leaves to the tea & place in the fridge until ready to drink.

     

    Make sure the tea is served ice cold.  Add  some extra ice blocks or pour over crushed ice for a really refreshing drink.
