Dill Sauce



Dill Sauce

  • 60 g onion
  • 1 cloves garlic
  • 10 g Butter
  • 400 g cream
  • 2 level tbsp Vegetable stock paste, thermomix recipe
  • 1.5 level tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 sprigs dill, fresh, leaves only
  • 1 pinch dried chilli flakes
  • 1 level tsp cornflour

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place onions and garlic in mixing bowl then chop 5 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  2. Add butter and sauté 3 min/120°C/speed 1.
  3. Add cream, stock, tomato purée, dill, chilli flakes (if using) and cornflour then heat 5 min/98°C/speed 1.5. Serve salmon and rice immediately with sauce.
