Varoma Steamed Salmon with Zucchini Salad & Vegetables

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Salmon Fillet (I used Skin Off)
  • 4 portions green beans, I used frozen Beans
  • 8 pieces Brocolli
  • 2 Carrots, Peeld thinly using a vegetable peeler

Zucchini Salad

  • 1 Zucchini (around 400g), Quartered
  • 1 handful fresh mint leaves
  • 25 grams lemon juice
  • 40 grams olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Large Red Chilli (Frozen if possible), -Optional

Recipe's preparation

    Salmon & Vegetables
  1. 1. Fill TM bowl to 1L mark.

    2. Place Beans, Brocolli and Carrot into bottom tray of Varoma.

    3. Place Salmon slices on top tray of Varoma.

    4. Put Varoma on top of TM bowl.

    5. Cook 20 mins/Varoma/Spd 4.


  2. Zucchini Salad/Dressing
  3. 6. Place all salad ingredients (except for chilli) into TM bowl and blend 3 sec/spd 4. Scrape bowl, blend 3 sec/spd 4.

    7. Serve salad on top of salmon. Grate chilli on top of zucchini.

    8. Eat!!

The zucchini salad is so fresh and delicious that no other dressing is needed.

    My family really enjoyed this.  Very yummy and easy to make.  I didn't have zucchini so didn't make the salad. Instead I cooked rice in the basket to go with the salmon and vegetables as suggested. I went with the salt & pepper on the salmon skin also. I'll  definitely make this again.

    Very easy. I didn't do the salad I just wanted this as a guide for steaming the salmon and veges. Used pumpkin, beans, carrot and zucchini. Pumpkin went a bit too soft but still delicious!

    Loved this - so easy and all in one meal. I used the bowl to steam rice at the same time, so we had some rice with it (I was doing the rice for the kids meal I was cooking) too. Love the 'zucchini salsa' - so delicious and zingy. I also just put salt and pepper on the skin of the salmon and lined the Varoma tray with wet baking paper.
