Delicious, thank you! Spices did burn at the bottom too.

    I added sultanas.

We had no tinned tomatoes so I used one fresh one plus 70gm of tomato paste.

This was absolutely delish. I didn't have pumpkin, beans or sweet potato just used what I had in the fridge. Added one long red chilli seeds as well & it was not hot just had a nice warmth. Served with jasmine rice & sour cream on top. Added this to my favourite. Will cook this again & again. Thank you for this recipe 😘

Sooo good .... the only fresh veg I had were potatoes, so I used some frozen peas, corn & carrots! Just threw them in at veg stage. Recipe is so full of flavour and a great way to use minced beef.

Mine is always cooked in 35 minutes. Maybe the veggies were cut larger than I do. My mince is always cooked. Sorry you had trouble. I am glad you enjoyed this one.

  • This took ALOT longer to cook

    Submitted by tarabell on 31. December 2014 - 21:58.

This took ALOT longer to cook than the recipe stated, mince was still raw and vegies hard at the end of the 35 minutes. Ended up cooking it on 100C for an extra 35 minutes. The boys enjoyed it and didn't find it hot at all, certainly made a large amount.

    Submitted by Natalie014 on 4. October 2014 - 22:33.

Yummmmmm!! Made a few changes, used fresh turmeric instead of ground and used tomato passata instead of tinned. Like some other members I also used less of most of the spices. Made my own mince in first step, also added handful fresh coriander in last 5 min. best home made curry I have made  tmrc_emoticons.8)

  • Omitted chillies and potatoes

    Submitted by MauzWilson on 19. August 2014 - 12:55.

Omitted chillies and potatoes and didn't use full quantities of spices.  Flavour was delicious. Even my 4 yr old loved it...it helped that I added some jumbo raisins to the mix.

This was really nice! Such a nice change from plain old bolognaise., the kids gobbled it up.

Be sure to stir the spices after cooking for 2 minutes too, otherwise they burn the bowl.

We all enjoyed this, even our 3 year old. Very tasty. The only change I made was turning down temp to 100 around the half way mark, as I thought it was neatly cooked after 20 minutes.

  • Very easy to make, the spices

    Submitted by michelle4017 on 29. January 2014 - 10:28.

Very easy to make, the spices did burn the bowl slightly but came off easy enough. The whole family enjoyed it - would probably add an extra chilli next time though.
