If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. STEP 1 Mix seasoning, salt and pepper with ½ the flour and Dust steak lightly with the seasoned flour.

STEP 2 add garlic, parsley and quartered onion to bowl, 10 sec, speed 5.

STEP 3 Add oil, stock cubes, steak and half mushrooms to bowl sauté  15 min, temp 120, speed slow stir. Scrape down the sides.

STEP 4 Add stock/water, Vegemite, tomato paste and Worcester sauce and cook for 20 min, temp 100, speed slow stir.

    Oh wow! Yummy.

    I used gravy beef.

I blitzed the mushroom with all the onion at the beginning so my mushroom and onion haters wouldn't notice (they loved this!) And I added a tablespoon of gravox in with the water.

Next time I'll double the meat. So delicious. Thank you
