Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Just what I needed to use up the other half of a pack of sausages.
I steamed carrots and zucchini over the sausages, and added celery with the apple.

I made this the other night, it turned out amazing, the right texture, etc. I usually make my curried sausages with chicken stock though, so I didn't really like the beef stock, but other than that this recipe is similar to the one I usually do on the stove but im so excited I can do it with my Thermo 😊 ill do it with chicken stock next time ❤

My family loved the flavour! So easy to make!

I used 500gm sausages, 1 tbsp curry powder, no sultanas, I added thinly sliced carrot and cooked rice in the basket while the sausages cooked in the Varoma (300gm rice rinsed and 900 gm water in the TM bowl for 14 mins, Varoma, speed 4 with snags place on Varoma tray). I did brown the snags in a frypan after too as they weren’t quite cooked thoroughly and we like the brown look
will be making this again again and again!

My husband has been hassling me for curried sausages for years. I chose this recipe as he wanted one containing sultanas.
I added the Apple at the garlic and onion step so it was chopped finely (so kids wouldn't spot it) I also had two broccoli stalks that needed using up so I added them. You could easily add more vegetables at this step to be chopped up and hidden.
I added a tad extra turmeric and then some honey through at the end for some sweetness.
I also subbed tomato sauce for tomato paste as it was all I had.
great recipe, thanks
