Making this again for tea tonight as I type. Made it only the other week, and was a huge hit with my daughters (4 & 2.5) plus my partner. I also add a tin of kidney beans. Quick, easy, yummy dish which will be a regular here!   Love

  • Hi, the correct flour to use

    Submitted by Chopsuey on 6. July 2013 - 16:26.

Hi, the correct flour to use is corn masa flour and your tortillas will be a success. We cook them on the base side of a sandwich press and they take about 30 secs all up. Hope this helps.  tmrc_emoticons.;)

    Ciao, Chopsuey!

  • Thanks for an awesome meal

    Submitted by Lucas777 on 26. May 2013 - 23:58.

Thanks for an awesome meal full of flavor. I only used half a sachet of taco seasoning and added a can of red kidney beans too. Just wondered if anyone has any feedback on the tortillas and the cooking of them so as they're not soggy/doughy. Thanks heaps tmrc_emoticons.)

  •  (Glad the family likes it)

(Glad the family likes it) try this homemade  taco seasoning recipe  -Mexican Seasoning or Taco/Nacho Mix ( as Jacqui said you'll find it on the TM forum), it's better than the store bought stuff

I do use this when I make it for home and I have a salsa recipe to try with it as well, just haven't got round to trying it as yet.

    Happy cooking tmrc_emoticons.)
