      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    TRINI'S CHICKEN DISH
  1. Add some oil to a Le Cruset pot then add the chicken and cook in 180 degree oven
  2. While the chicken is cooking in oven add 30g butter
  3. Add 6 shallots
  4. Add 500g mushrooms – sliced
  5. 10 min/100°C/Counter-clockwise operation/speed Gentle stir setting
  6. Add 2 x 435g cream of mushroom soup
  7. Add ¼ cup port
  8. Add 1 ½ cups milk
  9. Add 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  10. Add 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  11. 4 sec/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 3
  12. Once mixed pour over the chicken and put it back in the oven on 160 degrees for 1 hour.
  13. Add 2 x 300ml sour cream and stir through
