Tip

You can make this dish with or without the baking paper. It does keep the Varoma clean and chicken moist. Though if you like the sauce taste cooked through your rice this is also nice without the addition of baking paper.

The coconut oil adds a nice subtle fragrent flavour through the rice.

You can also empty the rice water out of the TM bowl and add the teriyaki saved in the baking paper back to the TM bowl and cook MC out, 10mins/100/sp2 with the addition of a little brown sugar to make a thicker sauce to drizzle over at the end. Good for fussy kids that don't like sauce yet you do.

If you increase the quantities of meat, teriyaki sauce or vegetables, take into account that you will have to increase the cooking time by approx 5-10mins, therefore you will need to add more boiling water to the TM bowl. This also means you will need to remove the rice after 20mins cook time and set aside in the Thermoserver so it doesn't go soggytmrc_emoticons.)
