Almond milk

  • 1/2C Raw unsalted almonds
  • 2C water, (Filtered is best)

Porridge

  • Linseed meal (from above)
  • Almond milk (from above)
  • 2 Apples, quartered, (I like Pink Ladies)
  • 1/4 level teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 heaped teaspoon Vanilla Paste

Recipe's preparation

    As follows:
  1. 1. The night before soak almonds in some water

     

    2. In the morning, mill linseeds 30sec Speed 9. Set aside.

     

    3. Make almond milk by draining soaked almonds and putting in bowl with 2 cups water. Blends 60sec Speed 9. 

     

    4. Add all other ingredients to almond milk and cook 70'C, Speed 3, 6mins

     

    5. Optional: serve with sliced banana, fresh blueberries, slivered/sliced/crumbled nuts

    Hi there, just a question - so I make the almond milk and add the other ingredients without squeezing the almond pulp out (If that makes sense!). Or do I make the milk, squeeze it through a nut milk bag, keeping the leftover almond meal for something else and return the milk to the bowl to continue making the porridge? thank you!
