Indian Silverbeet & Chickpea Korma

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon black mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 large onion, quartered
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 centimetre ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground tumeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 75 grams Tomatoe Paste
  • 1 can Chickpeas
  • 200 grams coconut cream
  • 1/2 bunch silverbeet roughly chopped

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1 Place the mustard seeds and oil in the Closed lid 5 m/Varoma/S3

    till they start popping.

    2 Add to the Closed lid onion, garlic and ginger and chop Sp 4/10sec then saute 5m/Varoma/S2

    3 Add the spices and salt 3m/Varoma/S2Counter-clockwise operation

     

    4 Add tomatoes and paste and the chopped silverbeet steams 10m/100/S2 Counter-clockwise operation till boiling

    5 Add chickpeas 5m/100/S1 Counter-clockwise operation and the chopped silverbeet leaves

    6 Add the coconut cream 5m/100/S1 Counter-clockwise operation

     

    Serve on Cooked Brown Rice.
