I also chopped the carrot longer (maybe 20 seconds in total) until it was fine as that was my personal preference!
Huge hit with the fam - will definitely be a weekly-fortnightly dish!

I've made this so many times and I always love it. So easy, tasty and releatively healthy. I omit the bacon as I'm vegetarian, and it still tastes fab. I serve it with just Kewpie and could live on this!

😮These were great! So easy, too. I’ve never had Japanese pancakes before, but did a google, and your recipe came up. I left out the rice bubbles, and bacon. Made an okonomiaki sauce: 3tbs ketchup, 1tbs each of tamari, and Worcestershire. Yum! Now I need to get me some Kewpie mayo for the next time. Thank you👌🏼

The whole family love this recipe. (even a fussy 4yo eats it without making many complaints)
I've made it exactly as the recipe says, but have also made some changes when I haven't had the correct ingredients:
I've used sultana bran flakes when I ran out of puffed rice
I've added other veggies that needed using up, such as celery, capsicum and corn.
Delicious every time!

5 stars because it tastes even better than my complicated non-TM "authentic" Okonomiyaki Recipe. Didn't have spring onions or rice bubbles (brilliant!) so left that out. Added katsuobushi to serve but won't have missed it eitherway!! Thanks so much for this recipe!

Yum, I added the diced bacon to the mixture and did heaped spoonfulls. (Flatten out once in the pan) Turn over in about 5 mins. Hubby couldn't guess there was cabbage in it.

These were DELICIOUS!! The whole family loved them and my 10 year old couldn't believe they had cabbage in them. I served them with teriyaki salmon. Next time I think I'll add some chopped green beans as well, or serve them with edamame on the side.
Just wondering where you buy okonomiyaki sauce (although the were yum with a bit of kewpie mayo)?
Really easy and yummy, no
Really easy and yummy, no rice bubble but used rice flour instead of plain and added a touch more. Great cold for next day's lunch too.

These were yummy! I used chicken stock instead of water and added a dash of salt to boost the flavour. The cabbage needed more chopping, so I added the stock and gave it another 10 seconds on speed 4. I served it with ETA barbeque sauce and thermi mayo.
