      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place water in the bowl to just cover the blade.

Place all chopped veg in the Varoma dish.

Cook veg for approx 10 mins , Varoma setting Counter-clockwise operation speed 1.

    Remove water from thermomix bowl.

Place garlic, onion and oil in to thermoix bowl, chop on speed 5 for 4 seconds.

    Scrape down side of bowl.

In a separate bowl I mixed the tomatoes, garam masala and yoghurt to ensure fully combined.

Place veg in to bowl with mixed tomato mixture.

Cook curry for 10 Minutes, Varoma, Counter-clockwise operation sp1.

Test veg to ensure they are as tender as you like.

PLEASE NOTE*** this curry is not spicy at all and could be used more of an accompaniment to any meat dishes or other curries.  Its a nice way to smarten up your bland veg. happy cooking

Tip

Just have fun.

You can add or take our flavours that you wish.

You could perhaps include Coconut milk instead of Greek yoghurt , however i wanted a lower fat version.

Instead of Olive Oil, this dish would have been great with Coconut Oil - i just forgot to use it tmrc_emoticons.(
