Vegan Kids Macaroni & Cheese

Ingredients

1 portion(s)

Gluten / Dairy / Egg Free Mac & Cheese for kids

  • 100 g Gluten free vegan penne pasta
  • 150 g non dairy milk, I use regular Soy Milky.
  • 100 g water
  • 30 g Soy Cheese, I use Woolworths Macro. It melts well.

Optional

  • 1 MC frozen peas & corn

Recipe's preparation

    Step 1
  1. Add pasta, water and milk to bowl. 


    Cook 90 degrees counter-clockwise operation Speed 2 for 10 minutes. 


    Add cheese. If it's looking too thick you can also add a splash more milk or water.  I will often add 1 x MC full of frozen peas & corn at this point too. 


    Cook 90 degrees counter-clockwise operation Speed 2 for a further 5 minutes. 


    Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Tip

This recipe is pretty average for the adult pallet, but can be enhanced with salt and pepper to taste and a dollop of mustard. I use either Dijon or seeded.
