      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

Do NOT extend the cooking time.

The addition of savoury yeast flakes is to make it dairy free. If you can have dairy, top each serving with parmesan cheese and stir through.

  • My TM5 arrived last night and

    Submitted by MrsKenyon on 18. December 2014 - 10:23.

My TM5 arrived last night and I had been scouring this community for something simple and different to make for dinner to prove to hubby it's well worth the money.  This Risotto is really delicious, and very easy. He has never had risotto made from scratch before and loved it.  He also loved playing with the new toy.

Topped off with dessert of Apple Crumble and Vanilla Custard - and he's completely taken with it.

He made American Pancakes for breakfast this morning, carefully reading the recipe. I just did the cooking. Total success.

  • Tasty and filling! This was

    Submitted by raycam on 10. December 2014 - 19:40.

Tasty and filling! This was my first attempt at a Thermomix evening meal and apart from swapping out the nuttelex for butter, and using frozen spinnach (coles 99 cents!) - this was a great taste and very filling! So handy- this will be a regular of mine for sure. The kids raved! even the 21 year old who normally only grunts.
