  • 30 grams basil leaf
  • 120 grams Cashew Nuts (RAW)
  • 15 grams extra virgin olive oil
  • 65 grams Parmasen Cheese

Meal

  • 1000 grams Sliced Chicken Breast, 7cm long and 4cm thick
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Stock Paste (BCB)
  • 600 bottle full cream
  • 100 grams water
  • 1 pinch salt

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Pesto
  1. 1.Add all ingredients into the bowl 10 Sec/ Speed 7

    (add a little more time if need be)

    2. Set aside in another bowl

  3. 1. Place 1000g Chicken in bowl 4min / 120 /Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting

    2. Add 2TS Veg stock, 100g Water and a bottle of cream to chicken 13min / 120 /Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting

    3.Add 400g (not cooked) paste (i also use Gluten free pasta) in to bowl with no MC (place simmering basket on top of lid 12min / 120 /Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting

    4.Add the pesto to the chicken 30sec /Gentle stir settingCounter-clockwise operation (add more time if needed)

    I cooked this today, it tasted ok, but a bit salty for my liking and I didn't love the way it smashed the pasta up into mush. I used angel hair.

    I have just made this dish and the flavours are amazing using the vegie stock and pre made pesto. There isn't enough water to cook the pasta through so a bit extra is needed. I also threw in some cherry tomatoes and didn't add the salt due to the high salt content in the vegie stock. With a bit of tweaking.....very nice.
