Curried tuna and pasta
- 70 g onion (1 med), peeled and 1/2d
- 1 clove garlic
- 25 g oil
- 2 tsp curry powder, to taste. I like Keens.
- 440g can canned chopped tomatoes
- 2 tsp Vegetable stock paste
- 185g can tuna in springwater, undrained
- 1 tsp Salted Capers, (optional)
- 200 g pasta, spaghetti

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Chop onion and garlic witht the oil, 5secs/sp4.5. Scrape.
Cook 3mins/Varoma sp2.
Add curry powder, 1.5mins/Varoma/sp1
Add tomatoes and vegetable stock paste 3.5/100/sp1
Add undrained tuna and optional capers, 2mins/ 100°C/ "Counter-clockwise operation" /"Gentle stir setting" .
Keep hot in a thermo-server while you prepare the pasta in your favourite way.
Serve.
