Curried tuna and pasta

Curried tuna and pasta

  • 70 g onion (1 med), peeled and 1/2d
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 25 g oil
  • 2 tsp curry powder, to taste. I like Keens.
  • 440g can canned chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tsp Vegetable stock paste
  • 185g can tuna in springwater, undrained
  • 1 tsp Salted Capers, (optional)
  • 200 g pasta, spaghetti

Recipe's preparation

    How to:
  1. Chop onion and garlic witht the oil, 5secs/sp4.5. Scrape.

    Cook 3mins/Varoma sp2.

    Add curry powder, 1.5mins/Varoma/sp1

    Add tomatoes and vegetable stock paste 3.5/100/sp1

    Add undrained tuna and optional capers, 2mins/ 100°C/ Counter-clockwise operation/Gentle stir setting.

    Keep hot in a thermo-server while you prepare the pasta in your favourite way.

A simple tasty dish that can be made a day or 2 before as with most curries, flavours improve on standing.

Can easily be doubled.
