I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1- Peel apples and cut them into chunks

2- Put all the ingredients into thermomix

3- Chop 3 secons speed 7 (you can vary this step according to your desired otucome - more chunky or more pure type)

You can keep in on the fridge for 2-3 days

Tip

You can mix pears, put less apples (I used very small ones) .

This is a chabad recipe I found and adapted to thermomix.

Original recipe ingredients:1 apple, 1 pear, 1 cup desiccated coconut, 1/2 raisins, 1/2 sweet red wine

I used only apples as I didn't have pears and needed to fill a container so used the 6 little apples in hand. Also didn't have raisins so used sultanas. No wine as kids were going to eat it, used grape juice instead.

It is a flexible recipe with many possible variations - you can use nuts too if you don't need it to be nut-free for example

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
