Too much sauce. I'm going to cook more pasta to add. But I'll try a different recipe maybe another time. Not enough chicken, bacon and pasta.

Tried this last night and it was horrible! The measurements are all off, there is way too much liquid to pasta, plus it was really hard to read the method the way it is written. My 7 year old could write a better recipe. Definitely would not recommend. Don't waste your time and your ingredients on this one!

Was nice but agree measurements are off, was so much water so added heaps more pasta and redid the end bit. Then was good, next time i will add extra bacon, either not so much water or just extra pasta again and cheese at the end so its not as hard to get off bowl. But all in all good recipe

This was absolutely delicious and a new favorite in the household. My toddler inhaled it. It's a nice quick and easy recipe for nights where you can't bebothered.
Next time though I will double the pasta as I had far too much sauce.

Rean:thanks for the reply. I'll try using bigger chicken pieces and maybe put the whisk in like it's been suggested. It needs extra pasta too. Do you reduce the water?

i forgot to mention it was absolutely delicious, will be a regular meal in our house and I've told 3 of my friends about this version also. Yummy, and I didn't change the recipe at all. I'll add my cheeses on serving to save on cleanup like some others have suggested, but it wasn't watery at all it was perfect fed 5 of us no probs, will add more pasta next time only coz we are piggies. Yum yum yum

my thermo is on reverse but it always completely shreds my chicken. I made this tonight and like every other dish my chicken ended up shredded
I think mine may be faulty. I even made sure this time that I heard it go into reverse. Any ideas?

Terrible. Never again. Way too much water and not edible. My first failed recipe. Next time I'll read comments before I cook.

This is delish. Need to cook extra pasta but a win for all but 1 child
Wish I'd read the comments re
Wish I'd read the comments re water volume and cheese in the bowl. Nice flav but obliterated by waaaay too much water. Even after putting detergent in my thermi and putting on 100 degrees for 10 min 5.5 speed, cheese remains stuck to base and blades... lots of scrubbing ahead

This was nice. I used 425 water after reading all the comments and added my cheese to pasta once in the thermo server. It was a lovely meal And kids kids loved it age 5 and 2. i used a level tbsp of vege stock As I was worried about making it to salty. I would use a little more next time maybe a heaped tablespoon as mine was lacking a little salt. It used up the rest of my two cheeses nicely after making the cheese crackers from something for everyone.
Yumm! we cooked the pasta
Yumm!
we cooked the pasta separately, cut the chicken stock to 1 tsp and did not add water. No issues with the bottom of the bowl! Was delish and well balanced. Also swapped the cream for long life, low fat carnation cream. Really yum, will become a staple!
i reduced the amount of water
i reduced the amount of water and added a pkt (350grms) of tortellini and increased the cooking time. I still found it to be to waterie, however the taste was amazing.

Scrubbing the cheddar cheese
Scrubbing the cheddar cheese off the blades and bowl was a real chore so I think I'll go with the previous comment by TeeCeeLee about adding the cheddar when the pasta/sauce is in the Thermoserver. I'll also need to adjust the quantities of water and cream as there was far too much sauce for the quantity of pasta. My kids thoroughly enjoyed it so I'll give it another go on that basis.
My husband seemed to like
My husband seemed to like this one, but he didn't see the scrubbing that went into cleaning the cheese off my thermo bowl. Sorry, this was a big issue for me.
Made this for dinner tonight.
Made this for dinner tonight. It was a winner with the kids so easy to make and Delish. I added more pasta to feed my 4 kids and didnt change the liquid amounts and was perfect Thanks
Hi Sam one of my lovely TM5
Hi Sam
one of my lovely TM5 customers has made this and finds it very delicious...
however, bacon and chicken got caught under blades in a big lump and hard to remove
any ideas on preventing that from happening?
so want her to get this right so she feels good about herself and her TM5
and I will get her to address the amount of liquid by reducing cream and water
Lovely but next time would
Lovely but next time would not add chicken stock, taste was overpowering much better when I made it last time. Yummmmm

Very tasty but my cheese also
Very tasty but my cheese also got stuck to the base of the jug (I got hubby to scrub haha!). I used 200g pasta but there was definitely enough sauce for more which I should have added as my children were still hungry. Next time might even be able to increase to 250. Thanks Sam!

5 stars! Just delicious! My family who are very picky, loved it. Very fattening but so so delicious!
We love it saucy , but yes
We love it saucy , but yes adding more pasta will soak up some sauce. I've cooked this many many times but never had cheese stick to the base of the bowl .
Thank you we enjoyed this
Thank you we enjoyed this pasta but next time will increase the pasta to 200gm as there was plenty of sauce to cope with it, plus needs that amount for a family of 4. I will also mix in the Chedder cheese once in the Thermoserver at the same time as adding the parsley. Cleaning the baked on cheese on the bottom of the TM was a nightmare for me...especially when the reason making it was for a quick and easy option.

We all loved how saucy it was. I did add extra bacon just to make sure it was nice & tasty. Definately a real hit with our family everyone loved it. Thank you for this recipe as it's going to be a regular at our house, yum.
Will try again with 350g
Will try again with 350g water as it was to liquidy even after attempting to cook it for longer to evaporate the liquid. Chicken breast shredded so will get thigh next time. Used less cream and cheese as stated but was an easy dinner option.
Yes I and my family love lots
Yes I and my family love lots of sauce . You could always cut it back by 50 ml each of cream and water
