      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

This is a good recipe but it's a little dry. Put 15g to 20g oil in the water in the bowl.
Run the rice under water till it's wet, then stir the saffron and other ingredients through.
    it will turn out perfectly.

I enjoyed this receipe as an alternative to plain rice but would use less salt and tumeric next time I make it - I found it a little overpowering! I also served it with a dollop of tzatziki.

I've just made this to go with a slow cooked Indian Beef Curry and it has turned out perfectly.
I only cooked 200g Basmati rice, kept the water the same but used 1 1/2 tsps Turmeric and just 1/2 tspn of salt.
I'll definitely use this method again. Thanks.
