Sauce

  • 3 zucchini, Sliced thinly
  • 2 chicken stock cube (for 0.5 l)
  • 1/2 freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 pinches salt
  • pepper, black, ground, to taste
  • 500 g water, mineral

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Sauce
  1. Place chicken stock cubes and water into mixing bowl and boil 7 min/100°C/speed Gentle stir setting.
  2. Place sliced zucchini and salt to taste into mixing bowl and cook 99 min/100°C/speed Gentle stir setting, without measuring cup.
  3. Add additional 250g water, garlic, and lemon juice into mixing bowl and cook 10 min/80°C/speed Gentle stir setting. Transfer to Thermoserver and wash mixing bowl with water.

  4. Pasta
  5. Place water and pasta into mixing bowl and cook for length of time on pasta packet + 1 min/100°C/speed Gentle stir setting. Strain pasta through simmering basket.
    Combine pasta with sauce, and top with pepper and parmesan cheese to taste.
