If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Cut the chicken into small cubes, coat with the sesame oil and place into varoma on the top tray.
Fill the bowl with the water.
Place the rice into the simmering basket, wash under the tap to remove some of the starch. Place into bowl.
15mins/Varoma/Speed 4 - Empty water from bowl and place the now cooked rice and chicken into the bowl.
Add the jar of sauce (or your own sauce) into the bowl also.
Add 100g of water to bowl
6mins/90c/Reverse/Speed 3.5
Leave the MC off to watch for mixing and consistency.
