      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place all ingredients into the TM bowl and blend for 10 seconds at speed 6.

    2. Then, use a spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl to make sure everything is being mixed together.

    3. Cook for 25 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius, speed 2.

    4. Finally, cook at Varoma for 10 minutes as to dehydrate the jam a little, giving it a smooth texture.

    5. Scoop into jars and cool in the refridgerator.
