Very nice thanks... if use cornflour instead of normal four, it is gluten and dairy free which is very handy
I'm very sorry you
I'm very sorry you experienced this (The Muffin Police). You may have been a little heavy handed with the salt. Better luck with your next recipe.

I feel like Lisa Simpson's
I feel like Lisa Simpson's pet horse in that episode where Lisa excessively feeds the horse salt licks.. I feel like ive just open mouth back stroked accross the Tasman Sea.. I feel like an Olympic marathon has just been ran in my mouth with no gold medallion given at the finish line.. To put it bluntly this was a salty episode of salt in the city, and all even Miranda was gettin it in.. Good lord.. Global El nino currents are diverting as a direct reduction of ocean salt deposits...
I give this recipe 2 out of 5 Simpsons horse salt licks!
Really nice!
Really nice!
This did not work for me and
This did not work for me and as others have said was too salty and thick. i will try again perhaps using 1 teaspoon of vege stock instead of a tablespoon.

This is amazing!!! I added one tablespoon of cream at the end and my husband just kept looking at me like this was the best thing he's ever eaten!
I found this recipe when I
I found this recipe when I was looking for a worthy cause to use up some mushrooms I had and I am so glad t I found it. So delicious and will now be a regular inclusion on our menu from now on.
I also had the problem of
I also had the problem of this being too thick/salty. I don't know if it was user error or if my wine wasn't quite right. In the end I had to add water to prevent it from being too thick as well as adding sugar as it was just too salty. I will try again in the future, hopefully I get it right next time!
Seriously Yum! I just made
Seriously Yum!
I just made this to put on Pork loin chops for dinner tonight and I just had a taste of this and it really is delicious. I tweaked it a bit as I didnt have wine so instead I just used 100ml of cream. I will be making this to have with meat more often. Thanks for the recipe
Made this sauce to go with
Made this sauce to go with dinner tonight and it was beautiful. I didn't use any flour to thicken as it was fairly thick without it, and in fact added a little cream at the end. It was a winner and we'll be having it again.
I have gotten to the final
I have gotten to the final step where I should be adding flour, have slowly added 1.5 tablespoons of the flour, it was extremely thick and quite like a paste. I added an extra 3/4 cup of water to get a runny sauce consistancy and cooked it for 6 mins/37degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" "Gentle stir setting" so that it didnt have a floury taste to it.
yum! thank you for

I was not sure why the recipe
I was not sure why the recipe called for 3T flour, when it was more than thick enough before adding the flour. I later realised that the recipe doesn't say when to add the 300g water, so mine was a little on the thick/salty side. However, the flavour was awesome and I will definitely make it again, but next time WITH the 300g water!
I have made his twice and
I have made his twice and both times it wasn't as good as I was hoping for, I had to try again because of all the great reviews . It was very thick and salty. I added some cream and it helped it a bit but after making it twice and not being happy I don't think I would try again.
Very nice, but when do you
Very nice, but when do you add the 300 g of water?
Lovely sauce, hubby thought
Lovely sauce, hubby thought it was delicious! I took the suggestions of others and only mixed it for 20 mins, adding the flour at the final 5 minute mark. Turned out great!

This was delicious. I used ghee instead of oil, tapioca for flour, splash cream with 5 mins remaining & only cooked for 12 mins.

Beauiful sauce! We had it on mash potatoes. I reduced cooking time to 20 mins and left MC off at about 15mins to reduce liquid with 1 tbs of flour.. Thanks for the recipe
Great recipe. I had to add
Great recipe. I had to add more water though, as it was drying out a lot. 25mins cooking is probably enough.
This is excellent! I put the
This is excellent! I put the Varoma on top and steamed veggies and chicken when there was 20 mins to go. At the end only had to add 1 tablespoon of flour and then added two tablespoons of Greek yoghurt. Delish! Will definitely make again. Thanks!

I made this last night. After 30 mins cooking, almost all of the liquid had evaporated. I added some more water and then thickened it with one tablespoon of flour. It was very tasty. I don't think I would cook it for that long again.
This was by far the best
This was by far the best mushroom sauce I have ever made was a big hit in my house. I even steemed chicken in the voroma while the sauce was cooking! The only different thing I did was added a few spoonfulls of Greek yogurt towards the end.
This sauce is just the
This sauce is just the bestest! I cut the oil down to 15ml (because I ran out!!) and only used half the amount of the flour! But oh how good is this!!! I steamed veges at the same time which was great! Added to meatballs and what a great meal! Thanks Luana for the recipe!
