Ingredients

250 g

mixture

  • 1 blood orange ( rind)
  • 155 grams raw sugar
  • 125 grams blood orange juice
  • 100 grams unsalted butter
  • 4 egg yolks

Recipe's preparation

  1. place blood orange zest and raw sugar in bowl and mill speed 9/ 10sec, scrape down sides of bowl

     

     

  2. place all other ingredients in bowl and cook 10-15min/80 degrees/ speed 3

  3. Pour curd into a 250ml (1-cup) capacity sterilised jar and seal. Set aside to cool. Store in the fridge for up to 1 month.

Tip

If blood oranges are unavailable, use navel oranges
