  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg, (freshly grated is best however ground nutmeg is fine too)

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place bread and cloves in bowl and chop for approx 10 secs on speed 8 until bread is fine crumbs. Set aside.
  2. Place onion in bowl and chop for 10 seconds on speed 4. Scrape the sides down.
  3. Add butter and saute for 2:30 mins, temp 100 speed 1.
  4. Add flour and cook for 2 mins, temp 100 speed 1.
  5. Add breadcrumbs and rest of ingredients and cook on temp 100 for 15 minutes speed 1. Ideally cook without the measuring cup but take cake.
