If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- 1. Add nuts, chop 7 seconds, speed 7. Set aside.
2. Add chicken, chop 7 seconds, speed 5.
3. Add chopped nuts, cream cheese, mayonaise, curry powder, chutney and salt and pepper if desired. Mix 15-20 seconds on speed 7.
4. Roll in a ball and coat with flaked coconut and/or curry powder.
5. Chill for 30 mins, serve with crackers.

Tip
Great recipe for using up cooked chicken. My family like curry so I usually coat my cheeseball in curry powder. Can also add coriander or parsley or chives to the recipe or as a coating.

MarilynL: hi Marilyn, I’m pretty new to posting recipes so have been know to leave things out. Conversion of my mum’s 70’s recipe. Hers says 2 cups but I put in 1/2cups as that is all that was left over. I must remember to weigh next time.
