Clean Chia Raspberry Jam

Ingredients

500 g

Clean raspberry jam

  • 500 grams raspberries fresh or thawed frozen
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Coconut sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add 400g of berries to the bowl

  2. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  3. Add 1 teaspoon coconut sugar

  4. Mix on speed 4 for 5 seconds

  5. Add 100g of berries to the bowl

  6. Add 2 tablespoons of chia seeds

  7. Cook for 8 minutes at 100 and on Counter-clockwise operation

  8. Store in sterilised jars and keep in the fridge.

  9. Excess jam can be stored in the freezer in a zip lock bag

Tip

1 tablespoon of honey can be used instead of the coconut sugar or 1 tablespoon of arrowroot powder if you're vegan.

This jam must be stored in the fridge and will last for appromicately 4 weeks.

    I used Rice Malt Syrup as the sugar alternative and used 400g of raspberries and 100g blueberries. YUM!!

    Awesome recipe, I didnt have enough raspberries so i used half Raspberries half blueberries and this turned out great! The blueberries helped tonne down the tang from the raspberries too

    Very easy to make and a healthy version of convential jams. I used frozen mixed berry's with the 1 tablespoon of honey, the kids find it a bit bitter - not sure if it's just the fruit but will definately make again with 2 tablespoon of honey. Thanks for the recipe
