For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- 1. Place spring onion in mixing bowl. Chop 3 sec/speed 7.
2. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
3. Add cream cheese to mixing bowl. Mix 12 sec/speed 4.5.
4. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
5. Add drained salmon. Mix 15 sec/ speed 5.
6. Serve immediately in dip bowl. Garnish with sliced spring onions.
Perfect fresh dip which is made in seconds.
Can use pink salmon or tuna if preferred.
