      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

    gpm_kp: just used this recipe.

I did water and ginger in first 9 min/120/Counter-clockwise operationsp1 (didn't want the ginger getting chopped up too much

Then I strained and added water back in the bowl and brought back up to 100 degrees.

Add the sugar and I ended up letting it go for 12 min @ 100 sp. 2.

    End result was perfect 😁

Hello, the first part of the recipe seems to be missing.... do i just add all the ginger into the water? Also, do you mean to cook for 5-9 minutes rather than seconds?
