Green Goddess Dressing (sour cream & mayo)

  • 3 canned anchovies, can use between 2 to 4
  • 1 small garlic glove, minced
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley, leaves only
  • 1/4 cup chopped tarragon, leaves only
  • 3 level tablespoons Chopped chives
  • 2 level tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • pinch Salt & pepper to taste

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

    Method
  1. 1) Blitz the anchovies and garlic for 5 secs on speed 9.
    2) Put all of the ingredients in the bowl and blend for 20 secs on speed 9.
    3) Toss with green salad.

Tip

The dressing can last about a week in the fridge in a air tight container.
Recipe makes about two cups.
You can use anchovy paste (2 teaspoons) if you prefer over canned anchovies.
