If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- 1. Add onion, garlic and fresh herbs (if using fresh) to the bowl, insert kid and mc (measuring cup), chop on speed 5, 3 seconds.2. Scrape down.3. Add olive oil, replace lid and insert measuring cup, sauté on 120 degrees for 3 mins, speed 1.4. Add tomatoes (and dried herbs if not using fresh), tomato paste, stock paste, add wine if using, insert mc and cook on speed 3 for 10 mins, at 90 degrees.5. Add salt and pepper or more herbs, olives etc to suit! Use over all types of pasta, try with some sliced fried chorizo or chicken or ravioli. Also great with a tuna steak and tagliatelle Pasta.

Tip
If you don't have tomato paste, use tomato sauce and some fresh tomatoes, chop the tomatoes and sauté with the onions and garlic.
