Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

I liked this recipe, it's a little bit thicker than other jams I've made but overall tasty. I didn't have a lemon so used lime instead.

Massive hit! love this simple and easy recipe!
Massive hit! love this simple and easy recipe!
I was slightly short on pears
I was slightly short on pears so used another green apple, also added lemon zest and replaced 10ml of the lemon juice with verjuice, adjusted the sugar back to suit total weight of fruit, and added vanilla extract approx 2 mins from end of cooking time. Also adjustedstir rate back to 2.5 . It s a big hit!
