Super easy, I did have to continuously wipe down the sides of the bowl during the 10 seconds which made the process take a little longer but definitely worth it. I doubled the recipe and worked well. Unsalted peanuts remove that salty taste and makes it a little healthier

Yummy! I use aldi salted peanuts, but put them in a sieve and give them a rub, removing a lot of excess salt. Left out oil but had some chopped peanuts I'd reserved earlier at the end as I like my butter to have a bit of crunch.

  • I used whatever nuts I had in

    Submitted by melissajv3 on 22. June 2016 - 12:51.

I used whatever nuts I had in the cupboard: a mix of roasted salted cashews, roasted almonds and raw peanuts. Added a slurp of maple syrup with the oil and used peanut oil as that's what I had (needed a fair bit more than a dash), as well as a generous pinch of salt flakes.

Delicious! I think next time I would dry roast the peanuts to release more of the oils and flavour.
