Steamed dumpling dipping sauce

1 small red chilli, seeds removed

  • 2 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce, Light is preferred, add to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Chinese rice wine(Shao Hsing)
  • 2 tsp brown sugar

Recipe's preparation

  1. Whisk all ingredients and serve 



You can use 2 TBS full soy, or 5 TBS of light soy.

    Made it with dark soy as it was all I had available. Wonderful with steamed pork buns!
