Tomato Paste

  • 1.500 grams tomatoes, quartered
  • 20 g Olive Oli
  • 10 g salt
  • parsley, good handful
  • 2 bay leaves

Recipe's preparation

    Tomato Paste
  1. Place all ingredients in mixer bowl. Process 10 sec/speed8/MC on.
  2. Cook 45 min/varooma/speed 1 MC off, with basket on top of lid to catch any splatters.
  3. Scrape down bowl. Blitz 1 min/speed 9/MC on.
  4. Cook a further 10-15 min/varooma/speed 1/MC off, basket on lid, until mixture is thcick and concentrated.
  5. Scoop tablespoons of the paste into ice cube trays or place in zip lock bag and freeze until required.
