Sweet potato mash

  • 780 grams sweet potato, 3cm cubes
  • 155 grams Milk
  • 35 grams Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • Pinch --- Salt and pepper

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place all of the ingredients together into the T-jug

    Place butterfly whisk into T-jug place lid with measuring cup 

    Cook for 20 mins at 100 degrees speed 1

    Whisk for 45 seconds at speed 3

    Serve and enjoy nice thick sweet potato Mash

    Very nice. I added a cpl of small white potatoes as i didnt quite have enough sweet. End product was a little brown, think i added a bit too much in the way of spices. I also cooked with the basket in place of the MC.
