Lentil & Bacon Chowder

  • 1 brown onion, halved
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 bacon rashers, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 carrots, roughly chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, roughly chopped

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Place onion, garlic cloves, and bacon in mixing bowl and chop 5 sec/speed 7. Scrape down sides of bowl with spatula.

    2. Add olive oil and saute 3 mins/100C/speed 2.

    3. Add carrots and celery and chop 6 sec/speed 4. Add water, Vegetable stock paste, lentils and black pepper and cook 15 mins/100C/reverse/speed 1 or until lentils are tender. Serve.
