Curried Cream of Vegetable Soup
- 30 grams Butter
- 2 leeks, White part, chopped into 3cm pieces
- 1 cloves garlic
- 4 sprigs parsley, Leaves only
- 1 sticks celery stalk, Cut into 3 cm lengths
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 250 grams zucchini, Cut into 4 cm pieces
- 320 grams potato, Cut into 4 cm cubes
- 500 grams water
- 1 tbsp chicken stock paste
- 100 grams cream

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add 30 grams butter, 2 leeks (cut into 3 cm pieces), 1 clove garlic, 4 sprigs of parsley (leaves only), 1 stick of celery (cut into 3cm lengths), 1 tsp curry powder. Chop 5 sec/speed 5
- Scrape down sides of bowl with spatula
- Saute 3 mins/100°C/speed 1
- Scrape down sides of bowl with spatula
- Add 250 grams zucchini (Cut into 4cm pieces), 320 grams potatoes (cut into 4cm cubes), 500 grams water, 1 tbsp Chicken Stock paste. Cook 25 mins/100°C/reverse speed 1
- Blend 1 min/speed 5 gradually increasing to speed 9
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Add 100 grams cream. Combine 30sec/speed 3
- Serve Hot
