Gluten Free Asian Hot and Soup Fish Soup

  • 6 centimetres fresh ginger
  • 1 red chilli
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1/2 Stalks Lemon Grass
  • 1400 g Light Chicken Stock
  • 6 tablespoons tahini
  • 4 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 500 grams white firm fish fillet - cubed
  • 300 grams Frozen Prawns
  • 4 handfuls of baby spinach
  • 4 level teaspoons fish sauce
  • Rice noodles to serve

Recipe's preparation

  1. Drop the ginger piece into the bowl with the blade spinning (S10), placing your hand over the lid to stop bits popping out.

    Do the same with the spring onions and chilli and continue to grind for 1 min/S10. 

    Add the stock and lemongrass and cook 5 minutes/100/S1 rev blade.

    Add the Tahini, vinegar and fish and cook 2 minutes/90/S2 rev blade.

    Stir in the spinach and fish sauce.

    Add a little more vinegar and Tahini to suit your taste and season well.

    Add the noodles and remove the lemongrass before serving.
