  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 bunch spring onions
  • 1 onions, medium sized
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 carrots, chopped into 4
  • 3 sticks celery including leaves chopped
  • 1000 grams water
  • 1 tablespoon Stock Concentrate, EDC
  • 1 basil leaves & Parsley, fresh, handful
  • 1 bunch English spinach or Silverbeet (stems removed)
  • 2 fresh or frozen peas, cups
  • Lemon Juice, salt & pepper to taste
  • sour cream and croutons, to garnish

Recipe's preparation

    Soup
  1. Place spring onions, onion and garlic into mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec on speed 7

  2. Add butter and saute for 3 min at 100 degrees on speed 1.

     

  3. Add carrots, celery and herbs and chop for 6 sec on speed 7.

  4. Add stock and water and cook for 20 min on 100 degrees speed 1

  5. Add peas and spinich cook for 3 minutes on 100 degreees speed 1

     

  6. Blend for 15 seconds by slowly going form speed 1 to 9 with MC in place blend for 40 seconds

  7. Taste for seasoning and if required add cracked pepper, salt and the juice of 1/2 small lemon and stir for 5 sec, speed 4

  8. Serve with sour cream and croutons to garnish or small sprig of parsley/basil
