      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation


    Cut leek into 3-5mm rounds, place into TM add oil and butter; cook 3.5 minutes / 120 degrees    speed 1.5


    Top and tail carrots, peel potato and sweet potato; roughly chop


    Add carrots, potato and sweet potato to TM bowl cook 3.5 minutes / 120 degrees    speed 1.5


    Scrape down sides


    Add TM veggie stock concentrate and water; cook 30 minutes / 100 degrees    speed 1


    Replace MC with simmering basket


    Blitz speed 1 - 8 increasing slowly for approximately 30-50 seconds
