For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Coloque no copo 1500g de água, 1 c. chá de sal, o vinagre e o cesto pincelado com azeite e aqueça 12 min/120ºC/vel 1.
- Deite 3 ovos, um a um, através do bocal da tampa e escalfe 3 min/120ºC/vel 1. Retire o cesto com a ajuda da espátula. Descarte a água do copo e deixe escorrer os ovos sobre uma folha de papel absorvente.
- Coloque no copo 1 dente de alho, 50g de cebola e 30g de azeite, pique 3 seg/vel 5 e refogue 2 min/120ºC/vel 1.
- Adicione 700g de tomate cortado aos pedaços, 70g de concentrado de tomate, 1 c. chá de sal, 1 c. chá de açúcar e 1 c. chá de oregãos e pique 5 seg/vel 5.
- Adicione 500g de água e 1 cubo de caldo knor de legumes e coza 15 min/100ºC/vel 2.
